Erika graduated with a BA from Spelman College and earned an MS degree from Columbia University. Her first major professional role was in international public health working in over 15 countries on maternal health issues. She transitioned to working as an RN and later as a Nurse Practitioner for Brackenridge Hospital’s high-risk pregnancy unit. Despite success in these fields, she has found no greater career satisfaction than through her work as a realtor in Austin. With a natural flair for connecting with people, Erika nurtures relationships that blossom beyond the transaction. This key ingredient has helped her create a thriving business built largely on referrals. Clients have often commented that Erika creates a seamless environment during a transaction, swapping out stress for fun. She is known for being enthusiastic, knowledgeable, patient, and hard-nosed in negotiations; all of which have been integral to her becoming one of the top 4% of agents in the city. While consistently fine-tuning her knowledge base about the market, she is a reliable resource, empowering her clients to make informed decisions. She is a Certified Residential Specialist, a designation obtained by very few realtors nationwide, and has earned several other industry certifications and awards. However, her education goes beyond the classroom. She has personally purchased and managed several construction and remodeling projects. Erika loves Austin and is a champion for several local organizations.
