Mary Emma was born a seventh generation Texan and returned in 2000 following graduation from Emory University. At Emory she began honing her eye for design. She double majored in Art History and English, and then enrolled in The University of Texas School of Law. She lived in multiple neighborhoods in Austin and was inspired to make each residence as beautiful as possible. Mary Emma has been a design junkie since before the home renovation design blog and television show craze began. She currently resides near Mount Bonnell, in another (mid-century) home she devetedly remodeled. Recently she lead the design charge on remodeling a 1935 home in Hyde Park, a personal invesment. It's no wonder that she frequently serves as a consultant on clients’ own home renovations.
But it's not just her skills as a designer and attorney that set her apart. She’s motivated. In the fast- paced world of real estate Mary Emma is polite, engaged, and candid, earning the respect of her clients as well as her colleagues. As to where the motivation comes from, it’s being mom to her three boys. Mary Emma is actively involved in her boys' schools (St. Stephen's Episcopal School, O.Henry Middle school and Casis Elementary and serves on the Parent Association Board for St. Stephen's and the Community Champions Board for Friends of ...
