Born and raised in Munich, Germany, Monika Suhnholz became an Austinite over 3 decades ago where she fell in love with the unique Texas charm of both the people and the city. She began her real estate career in 2005 and has been a consistent Multi-Million Dollar Producer ever since. A Global Luxury Agent, Certified Relocation Agent with Coldwell Banker—and consistently a top producer in their office. Filled with an enthusiasm and passion for life and driven by a great work ethic, Monika’s positive attitude carries over into her career as a real estate professional. If there's a secret to Monika’s success it's a quick understanding of the unique needs of each client—buyer or seller. She attributes her success, in part, to a long-term presence and involvement in Austin community and exemplary service to her clients. Her roots in Europe as well as the States make it easy for her to adapt to the needs of international clients as well. Monika’s diverse professional path before becoming a realtor taught her the importance of attention to detail to achieve client satisfaction in a very customer service-sensitive business: after receiving her hotel-management degree she worked at the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel in London & iconic Four Seasons Hotel in Munich. In 1997, she became the General Manager of Austin's first Professional Men’s Soccer team & the only woman on the Executive Committee of the USL, which honored her as Executive of the Year. Monika is drawn to causes that benefit children & is a supporter of the Austin Angels, Life Works, and Austin FC 4ATX Foundation. Monika and her husband, Joe Thesing, enjoy going to the Austin FC soccer games, live music events & are passionate about outdoor sports & fitness. Monika & Joe live in Northwest Austin with their dog George.
