Theresa has been a REALTOR® for over twenty years. She holds the e-PRO and the RENE designations and has been recognized as an Austin Platinum Top 50 Finalist. Currently Theresa serves on the Legislative Management Team Committee for the Austin Board of Realtors, was selected as ABoR's liason to the Austin Mayor's office, and serves on Texas Realtors' Land Use Committee. Her legislative advocacy has resulted in stronger legislation being implemented in several states on issues involving public safety, and she is a founding member of the nonprofit DNA Justice Project. She serves as a Director on the Travis County Appraisal District and as a member of the Grievance Committee for the State Bar of Texas. She has been involved with school advocacy for years, including serving on PTA Boards, including 4 years as President, and forming a PAC in support of Austin's most recent school bond. She is one of only three Realtors in Texas to hold the Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE) designation, and has advised and consulted in many divorce cases including facilitating the sale of real property and giving expert testimony in court. Her ability to help divorcing couples untangle their real estate holdings has been recognized by Texas Realtor Magazine and she is sought after as an expert witness. She has also coauthored a book called "The Ultimate Guide to Selling Your Home".
